I've recently enjoyed a very nutty flavor (peanuts/walnuts) in a couple of my cigars.

Can anyone advise more cigars with this profile?

thanks,

Rob

I have never tasted peanuts in a cigar. Somehow that sounds less than appetizing. I taste almond and hazelnut quite often. An almond liquor taste is a common taste for me to find in cigars.

*If I have ever tasted nuts or such in my smokes it's probably due to the humidification or storage quality gone wrong. If it works for you I'm happy for ya. I just feel my cigars are supposed to have that familiar honeyed maple-y flavor and aroma. Sorry! :o

Only peanuts I've tasted was in my first Wide Churchill, but ****, they might have just hidden a whole peanut in that cigar for all I know :o

peanuts? cuaba for sure. just have to find one that draws ok *sigh*

Dead right, the cuaba Divinos is the one,and they seem to have improved the build quality,my last box had only one dud!

El rey del mundo choix supreme also has this ,for me.

Interesting. Any idea what year/code? When they're on, they are THE BEST small smoke. But 2/3 are plugged usually.

The 2010 s have improved greatly...I had stopped buying them previously,as there were so many duds.

I dipped my toe in again, and the two boxes from 2010 were an improvement all round.very few duds.

Sorry, not sure of the code,as boxes were sold on Fleebay(who buys em or why,who knows)!

I'm considering getting another box soon,as I had some cuaba recently(one of the larger sizes)that were also good.If I do I'll give you an update.

Possibly the improvement is due to the slow down in sales worldwide, the tobacco is not stretched too thin?

I have noticed improvement in a lot of cubans in the last 1-2 years.

I get it in SLRs a lot. Especially the Churchill when it's on.

Good call Kanga. One of the cigars I was talking about is the SLR corona. P-nutty.

It's not a flavor I get in many cigars but I like it.

Thanks for the heads up on the '10 Divinos you guys. I'm gonna give them a try.
