OZCUBAN Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Or Over here in the West a "RED ADAIR JACKET" Over here in Perth its 39.c And yes the cigars are getting longer Cheers OZ
investandprosper Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 What is this snow you speak of? In the winter months in Hawaii, it just gets cool enough to be comfortable
tdlfoto Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 To me, being rushed or even remotely uncomfortable really diminishes the experience so I tend to really cut back during winter. Sometimes if time permits I'll smoke one in my studio after a job. Once in while, when its mild outside, I'll smoke something smaller (just got some great HQ HdM du Prince!) cigar outside.
ajgagnon Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Damn you Aussies! Here's my reply, back dated to Tuesday morning as I walked to work (smoking an H. Upmann Magnum 48). On the subject of Mag 48s, what's with the lemon taste from this tobacco (at cold)? The size and other character of this cigar pretty well hit the spot, but I could do without the tangy taste at the lips. Maybe it was frozen nose dribble... it was a bit cold as you can see.
Cooolish Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 LCDH has a smoking area... and my local tobaconist (Thomas Hinds) allows one hour a week.. to control the crowd i live in canada too.. i definately smoke less and buy way more

Omskakas Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 When winters three week spell hits hard and it reaches 20 degrees Celsius I look at putting on a Jacket I hate you. I hope Australia migrates to South Pole.
Homebrew Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I smoke in every room of my house, with the exception of the kitchen and the bathroom. So nothing really changes. My ex wife used to complain, hence the ex part. I miss my ex, but my aim is improving. Dave (A.K.A. Homebrew)

Same generally in Quebec also, except for 3 (I think) special "culturally protected places".
coneatty Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 What I am complaining about is that it is not only my cigars that are getting shorter! That is hilarious.
Warren Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Move to Brisbane and hang out on the deck with us, we'll teach you some bad habits and bad language.
olotti Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Well before I moved into my new house I used to go the short route but now my new house has a 2 1/2 car garage and I just bought a propane fueled forced air heater and right now it may be in the 30's outside but I'm sitting in the garage with just jeans and a t-shirt smoking a Siglo IV, so my outlook is very good to smoking through the winter being warm, finally. Sure I may pay a litte more now to replace the propane tanks but to smoke in the winter in Mich. is priceless.
groza Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I tried sitting on the veranda with a warm jacket and leather gloves but the cold totally killed the experience and the flavours. I look forward to warmer months and expand my stash during the winter.
