I have always liked the HDM Depute but went through a bad loose rolled box a year ago and lost interest (i am a fickle lover). However over the past 6 months I have been back enjoying her favours and what a great small format cigar it is. Cream, espresso, sweet hoyo goodness.

Any other fans out there?

I thought I was the only one in the world buying small cigars, especially Le Hoyo's!!! That's what I read on all the internet sites anyway! :P

I love the du Dep. and have introduced them to many a follower. I love these cigars but I am still burning '99's. Did I say I love these little guys??? I have been known to smoke as many as 4 in a row... I told you I love these right?

The Le Hoyo line is a strange bedfellow. I think Le Hoyo's have had a dubious reputation mainly due to their inconsistent character but I have had some really good luck and experience with the du Dep, the du Roi and the du Maire.

Thanks for bringing them up mate; great little cigars. Cheers, -Piggy

PS: Speaking of small cigars, I am thinking you guys on the balcony should review the Cohiba Exquisitos. No one ever talks about these. I have downed a bunch of them over the past 2 weeks and I am thinking they should be discussed more by you mainstream types! B)

I am smoking one right now. Got them from Czar quite a few years back. As the Prez said "I love their sweet Hoyo goodness".

I love the Depute's, my Hoyo smoking is mostly them and DC's.

Price is high for such a small smoke but worth it. Funny how a bad box can turn us off a favorite smoke for a while.

Lucky to have gotten 6 great boxes a while back, have half a box left, then a box of 07. Help I can't stop buying cigars, makes me feel better than money in the bank.

Love a Du Maire as a quick smoke with coffee - will get around to trying a du Depute soon I hope - might make a good substitute where a Dip 5 used to fit in - maybe a pint size sampler would find some takers?...

Mark me down as another fan of the Le Hoyo line. Des Dieux is one of my absolute favorite cigars. Du Gourmet are sweet, skinny cigars that sometimes seem to have draw problems. Du Roi are very nice.

I got a few boxes of old Du Deputes on an incredible sale. I don't think they were stored properly. Based on these alone, I'd say they are my least favorite of the line, but I don't think it's a fair sampling.

I'm also a fan of the Le Hoyo line, but the Des Dieux is my favorite by a large margin.

Yup, great little smokes. Like many others I like the 'Le Hoyo' line very much.
