Prez, Any chance you can provide the Juan Lopez in 5 packs? Just like the Paratags serie d no 1....

I will as soon as I can. Still confirming the exact quantity of our order. The first release generally goes worldwide to enthusiasts and collectors.

I tried a single of these at the Vancouver FOH Meet yesterday. They are out in Canada - The LCDH in Vancouver has but 3 (2 now!) left in their cab, and another B&M just got their cab in store 2 days ago. That said, if you want 'em, buy your box from Czar - can't beat the price point.

Anywhoo, the cigar itself! Quite tasty right from the start, lots of woody spice, almost a type of sweetness there, but it quickly changed to a sweet meatiness, kind of like sweetbreads. The burn was excellent throughout, until it went out suddenly near the end, and construction was flawless - a good draw with just a hint of resistance throughout. Last third was a little more scattered, probably because the cigar was only rolled 4-6 months ago!

All that to say - if you like Juan Lopez - you'll like this cigar. It was spot on for taste compared to other JL's I've had. They really nailed the JL blend, impressively so for a larger smoke than the regular cigars in the line. I'm not certain if I'll go for more of these, because the JL flavour is not really my cup of tea, but I had to try them and for regular fans of the line - you won't be disappointed! :D
