Omskakas Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 My storage humidors Some boxes Box of 09 lusitanias I just got. Looks and smells wonderful. An older box of 08 Winnies. They are smoking amazing.
cgarner Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 The sir winnies and Mag 50's are my favorite 2 smokes at the moment.
Ginseng Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Nice selection, man. And gorgeous looking Winnies! One of my all time faves. Ahh, your setup brings back memories. I started out with Tupperdors not unlike yours. Wilkey
Omskakas Posted August 9, 2010 Author Posted August 9, 2010 Winstons were so nice that I bought another box to age while I smoke that one. Wilkey, care to post pictures of your current setup?
Ginseng Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Winstons were so nice that I bought another box to age while I smoke that one.Wilkey, care to post pictures of your current setup? Not much of a setup in terms of sophistication or aesthetics but here it is anyway. This was taken some time ago...not exactly sure when. The big ones are Coleman 48/50 quart coolers. Wilkey
Omskakas Posted August 9, 2010 Author Posted August 9, 2010 ^Haha! I love it. Nothing too fancy, just more of it. I hope you have written down what's in the boxes.
Ginseng Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I hope you have written down what's in the boxes. Why would I do that? They're just hanging out there until I turn them to garden nutrient ash. Wilkey
thechenman Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Nice selection of sticks there. Wilkey...would love to see what is in the coolidors...
Omskakas Posted August 9, 2010 Author Posted August 9, 2010 Why would I do that? They're just hanging out there until I turn them to garden nutrient ash. Can you keep track what's in each coolidor by memory? Or do you like to discover things long forgotten?
Ginseng Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Can you keep track what's in each coolidor by memory? Or do you like to discover things long forgotten? A little of both, but each cooler has a theme. Yeah, roll those eyes. There's "ready to smoke," "Habanos - Long Term Aging," "Habanos - Medium Term," "Domestic*," "SLB-cabs," "Small and Thin," "Top Smokes," "Customs" and the such. If I get some free time, I'll take a few interior shots. Wilkey * I use the term "Domestic" to refer to all non-Cubans.
Omskakas Posted August 10, 2010 Author Posted August 10, 2010 ^ I bet "ready to smoke" are in the bottom. But I guess your system creates some order in the chaos of having 200-300 (?) boxes of cigars in non-transparent coolers. I have two storage humidors and one is for "don't touch these in 1-3 years" -cigars.
Omskakas Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 My first try of PSP's from Czar: Punch PC Another box I just got: Boli PC
Bartolomeo Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Great pics and thanks for sharing Bart
rp99pts Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Great collection, but if it was me, I would invest in a big ass cabinet humidor. I just couldn't see storing that big of a collection in Coleman coolers. I'm sure they prob work OK, but I'd rather have my stash marinating in spanish cedar than plastic...
Omskakas Posted October 7, 2010 Author Posted October 7, 2010 Moar p0rn, you say? RyJ Cazadores. I love the packing, smell and the looks of these cigars. Party 898 V. I got an average or worse quality box. Some cigars have badly applied wrappers and at least two are underfilled. When you buy "random" boxes you get these sometimes, I guess. I got my modifed corona gorda sampler from Czar. It seems like Smithy can't count to five because there were 4 SLR's and 6 JL's. The box codes were written on the bottom. Nice!
Omskakas Posted October 28, 2010 Author Posted October 28, 2010 New arrivals! Custom sampler! I love the oily wrappers on these. Czars have young cigar smell - ammonia. I'd like to try Tampas at once but I'll try to give them some rest. Connie 3's I just got! I'll smoke one box and put another to rest for 4-6 years maybe. I don't know where my retailer got these and I don't ask.
