 Well just got my first box from the almighty Czar today, a box of ten Partagas D4, which I believe is an excellent choice for my first ever actual box of authentic habanos, and WOW! Those are some crazy stickers. My second box, Edmundos, should be here in a couple of days and I'm very excited.

More than anything I really wanted to say thanks to everyone here on the forum and Lisa, but especially to two gentlemen in particular for recommending me when the only thing they really knew about me was that I needed help! Is it a violation of any forum rules to mention them by name? I already have two forum strikes against me and El Prez is warming up in the bullpen so I really want to be careful....

!LOL! all sweet.

We just need not to be too specific in this type of post. Mentioning members is fine. Lise is indeed an absolute honey.

So glad you are happy sweet, that is what we are here for to help :-)

I really do appreciate it! At the risk of being overly dramatic, it has been a long, hard journey to puro heaven, and my journey was filled with costly detours. However as I mentioned two BOTL stepped up and helped me out. Thanks to Pablo3232 and "Mr. M. Berman"(not sure of his forum tag). I will be contacting you both soon to get mailing info to send you a small token of my appreciation and gratitude. I don't know how the majority of my fellow brothers (and sisters) wound up with the Czar but I have been on this search for authentic (worry-free) habanos literally for many years. Maybe I'm a slow learner but I finally made it! My only problem now is finding the patience I will need to let these first two boxes rest a little before I sample. Not used to having to that with NC's.

Thanks again....

Congrats on your purchase. I, too, recently made my first order and was pretty excited to finally smoke a "worry-free" PSD4. I was practically spazzing out from excitement and knocked over the latte I made to accompany the stick. Enjoy your smokes!!

Great to hear you got your first box from the Czar, and a great choice! You won't need to worry ever again. Happy smoking brother. :D

ps; I dig the avatar pic, whatcha riding?

Thanks. That is a custom built Jesse James West Coast Chopper. I ride it almost daily but never more than about 100 mi at a time, hurts my arse too much! I am also fortunate enough to have a an '09 FXDB that i've done a little work on. Use it for when my wife wants to ride or when I'm going on a trip or a long ride.

Actually I think you should try one right away. Then wait one month at least before you try another one. This will give you an idea of what the time diff does and it is well worth the exercise.

There will be many more boxes in your future so have no worries. :lol3:

Congrats. PSD4s are great. Love the Edmundo as well. This is a great forum and the shop is second to none.

Both excellent suggestions; I was just going by what I has read on the forum about letting them rest. But a great idea to smoke one (or two :cowpoop: and come back to them later. Chose the PSD4 because it keeps coming up on alot of guys fave lists. I chose the Edmundo because I like that size. Next victim will be Bolivar RC or Belicoso Finos. Then maybe a Ramon Allones SS, then maybe Diplomatics #2, then maybe....

What was it that someone said earlier about "that long, dark road towards poverty"?

Congrats, I just got my first box too. We almost chose the same, but I went with the BRCs for my first box. PSD4s are probably next, maybe with some singles of things I haven't tried yet.

**Don't you just love that fizzy little tingle you get in your gut while awaiting the safe arrival of your wonderful, forbidden to us, smokes...!? :cigar: And then, when they arrive safely & in-tact, you get that orgasmic elation which slowly, lovingly settles down into an ongoing glow as you view & peruse them, then arrange them with mouthwatering affection in your humidor... :P:yes:

Thanks for the info - nice ride. Maybe you could post a couple of pics if possible?

As far as the cigars, I've got both the Boli Belicosos & the RC's. Bloody hard choice - get both!

If not, I'm a little more towards the RC's, have only smoked two, and they were both fantastic! :cigar:

Here's a photobucket link to a few photos of my scooter...

Gotta love a hardtail!!! <_<

I do, I really love the look. And 99% of the time it's great. But that 1% is usually a bone-jarring age reality check...
