Smoked my first BHK today and bought a box of the 54's. I found it a very smooth creamy smoke. Going to lock these away for at least 5 years.

Congrats on your purchase. Great looking cigars. Happy to hear you enjoyed the smoke.

Thanks guys. Just to relay some thoughts of a few friends of mine who have smoked all three of the BHK range (I have only smoked the 54 and so cant comment on my personal experience), there is a view that the blend lends itself better to the 54 and 52 over the 56. That said everyone who has smoked any of the BHK's has said its an excellent cigar. Dont know how useful that is? :) Would love to see a FOH review of all three?

Oh yeah one other detail about the box which i didnt mention and may not be clear is that it has a magnetic seal, no clip or catch or anything. I like that.

Heard quite the opposite --- heard 56 and 54 are the best.

Congrats chum on the new purchase, hope you enjoy them, little to fat for my liking, but that's the beauty about cigars, each to their own ;)

I am not sure if there is a difference in the blend, but I know that the difference in the size, especially ring gauge, does make a difference and you shouldn't expect the 3 cigars to taste the same. From personal experience, I found the 56 to be a lot stronger than the 52, with both of them being exceptional cigars. I 've yet to try the 54

Thanks for sharing the BHK 54, i will try to smoke them next week, so far i think 52 is the best, 56 is way too strong for me,

i felt so dizzy after finishing 52 + 56
