This is my very first post, and I am intrested in what members of this forum smoke on a regular basis. What is there go to cigar and how often do they smoke it? Certain years that they feel are better than others?

My daily smoke...whatever CC I pull out of my humidor. For the most part I don't save many cigars for special occassions. For me the marca all depends on my mood, and the vitola depends on how much time I have to enjoy a fine CC. Most of my cigars are recent production from 2006-2008. I do have a few, but tend to avoid cigars from 2000-2001.

My taste goes to mild to medium, and my vitola of choice is robusto (or thereabout); so my daily smoke (or I should say my every-other-day smoke: I skip a day for my mouth to rest) is ERDM Choix Suprême

Welcome Rock.

I must qualify and say all my smokes are hand rolled Cuban cigars. Alot of folks will smoke "cheaper" cigars daily and save the more expensive or rare cigars for special occasions. I think there something special about everyday and I do not sweat the small dollars so I will smoke any cigar I want out of the collection. The amount of time will dictate Petit Corona or Double Corona and my mood will influence the strength of the cigar.

I have no set regular smoke or rotationj but love Cohiba, Partags, Ramon Allones and Bolivar. I wouold seuggest you not hoard the "good stuff" for days that rarely come and live each day like it the best one.

Good smokes to ya mate.

If the weather is nice and I have no chance of being interrupted, something very special/nice/expensive.

If the weather is so-so or cold or Idon't have much time, JLP PEtit Cazadore.

For everything else, all the normal stuff (Mag46/Regios/BBF etc etc etc)

Welcome!

Now a BBF can be a real special cigar for me. So can a nice Mag46. I am many times pleased by the "regular cigar" and let down by the hyped up special one.

Like many here, I do not have any specific daily smoke. I find that I choose a cigar that meets the time I have to enjoy it. It bothers me to no end to not be able to finish a cigar that I have started because it is never as good as it was before I let it go out.

I find that I can find 30-40 minutes during the day almost any day, so a Minutos or Perla fits the time allotment well. While I love a Robusto or a Corona even a Corona Gorda from time to time, as I said, I choose a cigar for the time I have.

For a creamy smooth mocha flavor, a Montecristo No.5 is perfect. I like to switch up with a Diplomaticos No.5 for when I am looking for a paprika spice bomb. Others that I smoke on a regular basis are Partagás Short, Bolivar Corona Junior, Ramón Allones Small Club Corona, SCDH El Principe, Cohiba Siglo 1, Trinidad Reyes.

Then you could work your way up to the Petit Coronas................

when i smoke a cigar I want it to be a good smoke, so i avoid el cheapos. I don't just to be smoking. Partagas, Bolivar, Cohiba, Monticristo, Cuaba... are some of my favorite

I too like variety and do not have a single cigar that I smoke on a daily basis.

Also I smoke usually after lunch or/and in the evening when I can relax. So I will pick a vitola that meets these requirements. My humi contains a variety of sizes for different occasions.

What I smoke is based on my mood and time allotment. If you are interested in what we all smoke from day to day, the "FOHers Daily Smoke" thread might be worth browsing through.
