Cubanface Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Pretty interesting video. Makes me very hungry. Copy and paste the address. http://www.puff.com/video/video/159/Ultra-...ries-on-Puffcom Giving you a straight link wouldn't work for some reason. Sorry.
stargazer14 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 That was interesting, but if he says 'rare and never to be seen again' one more time..... Thanks for the link!
brian1 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Very cool to see those"never to be seen again" diplomatic cohibas. Guy kinda reminds me of a poor mans Tony Montana.
brutusthebuckeye Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 That box of "Behike" looked like the box this guy on CA was going to buy..........if i remember he was just getting the cigars not the box..all the heavy hitters on CA were all over the dude!!!!!!!!!
finecigar Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I was expecting something more impressive. This is quite a cool video but I had the imagination of "rare cubans" being pre-embargo and some almost priceless pieces of art with history on them.
BigGuns Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 That box of "Behike" looked like the box this guy on CA was going to buy..........if i remember he was just getting the cigars not the box..all the heavy hitters on CA were all over the dude!!!!!!!!! I was thinking about the same thing. Except the way I recall, the person actually possesses a few of these post-production Behikes and was getting destroyed because the numbers on the band exceeded 4,000 and were printed, not handwritten. What a joke. Perhaps Lilo can elaborate, if he is so inclined. I thought it was nice to see a point of view that corroborates the story. Too bad that thread was pulled not too long ago...
Rogers72 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 After watching, I assume that this was taken at a store somewhere in the western hemisphere. Does anyone know the store?
JasonInChiTown Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Nice video. A escape from my desk job. I heard a website address to check out his store, or other rare collections that have sold in the past. Anyone catch it? Something m---humidor.net?
josie67 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Something seemed weird to me about the whole thing.....not quite sure what it was, but I just didn't trust anything I heard.
BolivarSmoker Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 After watching, I assume that this was taken at a store somewhere in the western hemisphere. Does anyone know the store? Looks to me like it was at the store that is located in the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. I've been there several times and I am 99% sure that is where this video was shot.
purosdave Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Hmmm. Rare, yes, never seen before? hardly. Nice collection, but pretty new stuff that has been posted all over the internet for us havanahoes.
ucla695 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Great video! Truly great stuff that most pedestrian Habanos collectors will neither see nor enjoy.
samb Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 That box of "Behike" looked like the box this guy on CA was going to buy..........if i remember he was just getting the cigars not the box..all the heavy hitters on CA were all over the dude!!!!!!!!! Behold . Good times, lol. Cool vid BTW!
dicko Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 saw this vid. awesome cigars and good story with the diplomatic presents and the palm tree symbol etc (I believe that is how the cohiba blend began?). The moment when he says "if you guys watching could smell these cigars.." I reckon I nearly could haha. porn
smokem Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Don't know if they're real or not. and I'll never know, but from the distance shown they sure looked very nice.
LiLo Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I was thinking about the same thing. Haha, yeah what a great thread that was. A friend of mine on CA is a pretty serious customer of Adams shop ( havana humidor ) and he went down there and saw these behikes ( the exact same box as in the video ) and was curious about them. He really was considering buying ( he actually told me he was about to buy them ) them so he took a picture of them while he was there and sent it to me and told me to post the pictures on CA because he doesn't know how to. So i did and everyone went nuts, saying they were fake blah blah blah. i mean it really turned into a pissing match. I had my reservations about the box as well but as soon as he told me where he was getting them i believed in them. Havana humidor is a very respected Cigar shop and i highly doubt that he would try and peddle fake behikes. Are these to be considered the same behikes as the original 4000 release?? No...but i believe they are unique and were made for people involved in the production of the behikes like adam states in the video.
Colt45 Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 I've no idea about these cigars, but I do have a question - if they were produced for heads of state, the people involved with production etc, how do they make their ways to private collectors? (I'm not doubting, seriously curious).
