  1. Glad that you and your family were able to step in and help take care of your parents when they need it most. Working in healthcare, I see many patients who aren't as lucky and it's sad to see. Hope you get many more years together.
  2. I typically only drink water as well, but the rare times I pair it with another drink it's always whiskey.
  3. I agree, it's definitely gotten out of control. I have no problem tipping at normal places (barbershop, actual restaurant where I sit down to eat, bar, etc.), but I'm not tipping you for making a bagel, or for me to go in and carry out my food.
  4. Do you think prices are actually going to drop again? I'll admit I'm relatively new to all of this, but I feel worried that prices won't drop much in the future.
  5. Yikes, even to the untrained eye that's horrendous.
  6. Similar to what some others have said the only time I've had an unpleasant level of nicotine was with Nicaraguan NCs, but have smoked a couple of CCs in a single sitting without issue.
  7. Hoping the best for you. Cancer is a bitch
  8. RIP, another legend lost
  9. I feel like it’s just a status symbol at that point.
  10. My spending is up, but only because I recently got back into cigars. The last time I was really into it was probably around 2008-2009 and really wish I had just stocked up back then and saved myself a bunch of hurt now.
  11. Congrats! I was pretty skeptical you'd get them back, but happy to see they all made their way back to you in pretty unharmed condition.
  12. Good evening y’all. Long time lurker, first time poster. I’ve been pretty infrequently smoking cigars for the last 15 years or so, mainly for special occasions. Then on my honeymoon I had the opportunity to smoke a handful of Cohibas (medio siglo, robusto, and, my favorite, a siglo ii). This sent me down the cigar rabbit hole and I’ve been smoking a handful of new world cigars per week, but none were as enjoyable or tasty as those cohibas so I’ve made a couple of orders on here of other Cuban brands to try and explore them. Looking forward to learning more and participating in the community!
