  1. That is actually a Power Glide flex plate. It connects the engine crankshaft to the torque converter which is the fluid coupling between an engine and an automatic transmission. And yes, it functions as the ring gear for the electric starter. The Power Glide was used from 1950 into the early 70s. About the only info I had on that was that I purchased it from a fellow that specifically sells Tri 5 Chevy parts and it most likely came off of something from the mid to late 50s. They are unique among flex plates. That one turned out nice....
  2. Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I do sell them. DM inquiries. They’re not cheap. They’re completely made on a manual lathe. But they’ve been well received.
  3. Thanks! I make the cigar rests:
  4. When your roller chews Hubba Bubba it’s bound to end up in your cigars.... Was it Awesome Original or one of the myriad recent flavors? AEB8294A-747D-4505-B332-5308AD24BC08.webp
  5. 2012 Cuban Classic. Absolutely amazing...
  6. Don’t be jelly of ME! LOL I figure that’s what @El Presidente means when he says “these are fantastic and destined to be a classic. Go deep if you can”.
  7. I guess I always figured “deep” approached a Master Case in quantity! LOL
  8. Go ahead, Dan. Scratch your ash upon that brass! That’s why it’s there!!
  9. No idea, and no need. It happens. ??‍♂️
  10. I’ve enjoyed the couple I’ve had. I’m not “deep” on boxes, but I think 4-5 will do me. I’m happy to have them.
  11. I guessed. At least I’m with the majority. Lol
  12. Yeah. It stinks. My unopened box is a 2003. Maybe it’s better. ??
  13. Been saving this one for a while and I have another unopened box on hand, but I sure hope the ones in the box have some moxy as this one was certainly past it’s prime. That, or it had nothing to begin with. Almost no scent from the foot (which never worries me), and after cutting notes a perfect draw with almost no discernible flavors (again, never worries me...). Upon lighting I got concerned. Noted very muted Smokey flavors including faint cedar, but that was essentially all their was. For the entire stick. No familiar Medaille D’Or Cuban twang. No floral aspects, no fruit, no roasted nuts, or sweet tobacco flavors. Just nothing unfortunately. I tossed it shortly after entering the final third. Seems it was aged to death. I’ll have a No. 4 on my commute tonight to relieve my disappointment. Sincere apologies for such a dismal review, but all I can say on a positive not was that it was well constructed, looked nice and burned well. But without flavor you have nothing... Score: 82
  14. I’m going with option number D.
  15. I’ve enjoyed those. I think they’re improving. I have several boxes myself and am happy to have them ??
  16. That quote was an insoluble puzzle to me....
  17. Coffee is for drinking. Chickpeas are for throwing at your little sister when Mom’s not watching... I thought everyone knew this.
  18. Interesting question. Didn’t see that one coming.
  19. Sounded like something he would have said. It IS like something he would have said.... I was wrong.
  20. Yeah, didn’t completely see this one coming. I knew he wasn’t in the best of health, but didn’t think he’d be gone this soon.
  21. Why, thank you!! @BTWheezy has some. I think he likes them.
