Notice how he has mastered the art of pushing the fish as close to the camera as possible. Most of these fish are 5lb but Ken claims 7-9. They always feel heavier when you are holding them at full extension that is all very kind but if you read your own forum, you'd be aware that i had already posted these. scales were compared to a finely calibrated set from the lodge kitchen and spot on. What trout farm did you go to Ken? i'd be careful mentioning trout farms on this forum as our very own grand poobah is off to one with the family for chrissie! the big ones came from a river down near hamner and the others around the nelson lakes, all south island. In my experience Shrink....the facial expression of women who have gone out with Ken is very similar to that of these fish. When we trout fish, fresh caught trout gets immediately gutted/cleaned and fried up in the pan with a little butter and fresh herbs. Nothing better with an ice cold beer.
