Ken Gargett Posted November 16, 2009 Share Posted November 16, 2009 currently at melbourne airport. flights still going but qantas have suffered a worldwide crash in their boarding pass system. apparently, no one anywhere on the planet can get a boarding pass. but if you have one, no problem. thank god i got this evening's when i checked in for this morning's flight. what a mess. qantas have just announced that anyone flying in the next 24 hours who does not have a pass should contact reservations to try and see if they can delay. thechenman Posted November 16, 2009 Share Posted November 16, 2009 So this is what are increased airfares are paying for. I recently returned from a quick jaunt of a few days to our nation's capital. On this trip, I had the priveleage of paying to have my bag lost. Go figure? They charge you $25 to check-in a bag, and for that, they will conveniently misplace your bag and end up sending it halfway across the country. I mean come on...its not far from NYC to DC.
