Been plowing through one of the humidors and came across a box date OUSU.

They look and smell prime for the smoking.

Got to wondering if they may have gone past peak.... :)

Not that it matters as I can't back up the clock - just curious on your thoughts.

When the peak period is for a particular cigar has always escaped me.

Also - Would you consider them best smoked early afternoon or following a evening meal?

I had some that were OASC I think . Could be wrong. Magnificent. Sadly they are long gone.

I have a box of SU as well. They are pretty light at this stage, but very pleasant. I would tend to smoke these during the day.

Bud...I think they are right in the batting zone now. They can be delicate in body but should have a wonderful flavour spectrum. Take them slowly and you will be rewarded. Some of my favourite Punch Churchills are from that period.

I still have about half a box of OVSU from FR (Miguel Fernandez Roig ) and they are still quite good. Very mild and smooth, but quite flavorful as El Prez sez. Enjoy 'em!
