Montecristo Especial No. 2 (Oct '04)

Just a very brief review of a cigar smoked last week. Very smooth almost the whole way through - just starting to develop a bit of a rough/peppery edge in the last inch, but still not unpleasant in any way. Predominant flavours were toasted tobacco and a rich/smooth/creamy vanilla that coated the palate. An earthy/cocoa flavour also featured at times. Draw was perfect, and it burned extremely well. The best cigar that I've smoked in recent memory.
