If there is one way to see Cuba, that's the way.

Don't lock yourself up in a hotel, don't even stay in a hotel,

Stay at the locals, you have more fun getting to know the people,

you eat much better then at a hotel and you see the cubans like they are,

not like the postcard would want to make you think they are. you'll see more

and you'll make true friends not Dollar or Euro friends.

Did anyone see that the writer of the article is an intern? Good for her.

I myself would love to see Cuba. It's certainly something I hope to do before

the embargo ends.

Trading With The Enemy by Tom Miller is a wonderful book about a US Citizen who bicycled though Cuba for a couple months in 1996. It's a most facinating read. Highly recommended.
