habanablue Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I was recently gifted two Torano Reserva Selecta Cigars with a gold wrapper. Not a golden brown wrapper, but an actual gold leaf wrapper. I'm guessing dye must hae been used to achieve this effect, but if anyone knows anything about them I'd like to find out more. Cheers Sam

The whole cigar has the gold leaf wrapper.

laficion Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 $94.50 US for a single That's peanuts, On a news cast about 2 or 3 months ago, they showed ,at a Russian luxury Fair in moscow, a Dom.R cigar with the wrapper covered in 24k gold was selling at 500 Euros a stick. well, after that, I think I'll go out and get myself a 50 Euro cigar, just so that I can look cheap.
