Tampa1257 Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I found it at the UK store via Google, looks to be an interesting book and not all that expensive.
ndtoronto Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 Prez If there is any way you could order this book from your suppliers I would take a copy as well as pace an order some cigars to make up the diffirence Im hoping someone has an answer
Colt45 Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Just for kicks, have you tried contacting any of the Canadian La Casas Del Habanos? The Canadian distributor also lists an authorized shop in Halifax.
Punch Joe Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I haven't seen this one either but I will top it to see if we can get an answer. The abovementioned book is already sold out in Havana. Maybe I can find one for the Forum in English version. I have one in Spanish. It´s a poetic story about the Robaina family name, sharp images of the life of a grower and what´s more, the man behind the family he has created. I liked but beautiful writting is not gifted to everyone, so in Spanish is not so good as it could have been. Gotta check out the english version but anyway if it´s based upon the Spanish version, it would be a let down. Those who has the chance to chat withthe Old man in San Luis can appreciate many of the anecdotes he tells on this book.
