Ginseng Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 This thread motivated me to pull out a Sancho Panza Coronas Gigantes and darned if it wasn't the perfect accompaniment to a mug of lemon tea and warm afternoon on the porch. Delicious grassy and clean tobacco with a refreshing punch and crispness. Good stick. Wilkey
El Presidente Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 This thread motivated me to pull out a Sancho Panza Coronas Gigantes and darned if it wasn't the perfect accompaniment to a mug of lemon tea and warm afternoon on the porch. BonVivant Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Speaking about Sancho Panza CG: I have read horrible reviews about this cigar and could never understand why people do not like it. I jumped on a few boxes in the nineties, because I really liked it and now sadly have only a few singles left - Great, Great smoke! I am so glad that this one is appreciated here. I believe it is dicontinued
FlyFishingDude Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 And rest assured that I will accept wholeheartedly any cigar sent in my direction to test, review enlighten, and educate. Currently I have an opening for the "Cohiba Gran Reserva.....
laficion Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 There has been a great number of posts on the suject and I had a fantastic time reading all of them.Wonderfull discussions guys. As for me, I have just gotten myself a box of RG Coronas Extras that I have not smoked in a long time now and because of bad reviews that, unfortunately somehow, always influence you to some degree. Well, even after 38 years of cigar smoking, I was happy to see that I was wrong. they are excellent !! I remember, in the late 70's, RG, was a very sought after Marca of all the Habanos, also all the Sanchos. Things change all the time, that's why you should never say never. Always keep an open mind. The best part of smoking Habanos is the fact of always being surprised when your not expecting It. Cheers
smk819 Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I am an unabashed Partagas *****, but I still some of the off brands. I did try some Vegueros and they were a major disapointment.
