roughrider Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I need some recommendations. What cigars do you guys recommend that are sweet, creamy, smooth, buttery, etc.? I don't care if they're mild or strong, as long as they have these characteristics. Thanks. I'm noticing that I really don't like spicy or peppery cigars.

You might also try some Juan Lopez.
mbrody Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I have only had one so far, but my notes on the Cohiba Corona Especial were sweet, smooth, touch of vanilla and honey-cream. Don't know the box code, got it in a sampler from Rob...
Colt45 Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Generally speaking, I concur with Cohiba and Hoyo de Monterrey.

Ken Gargett Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 sorry, machine continues to hate me. was trying to say that i completely agree - the request screamed cohiba to me and if you wanted to be a little more specific, grab a few siglo vi's and see what you think. especially if you can get a little age on them.
El Presidente Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Thanks for the input Ken HDM Epicure No 2. Punch Petit Corona. San Cristobal La Punta/Principe.
sounddust Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Cohiba Siglos. The IIs and VIs in particular.
Tampa1257 Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 May I recommend the SLR Serie A or the ERDM Choix Supreme. While the Cohiba line is also an idea, from your stated likes and dislikes I would stay with the Siglo line and stay away from the Linea 1492 and the Maduro 5 lines as both of those are on the spicy with a touch of pepper.
Van55 Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 San Cristobal /Principe. Are you nucking futs?????? The last El Principe I smoked was a little pepper pot/firecracker. Great little cigar but not creamy, sweet, buttery in the least on my palate. I like the Choix Supreme, nicely aged Cohiba Robusto and Hoyo du Gourmet in response to the OP.

Did you mean Linea Classica instead?
smokem Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 PLPCs. Although I don't find them spicy or peppery, I believe others may feel differently on the later. Also, I have the taste buds of sandpaper.
