That's awesome, where are you located? Mine are supposed to arrive tomorrow, tons of delays. It's getting old, all the cigars I got off the last two sales never shipped before the two week cigar-shop holiday break either.

Ken...your comment re last picture reveals the fact that you're not only a wine expert but also a canned food expert. Is that your next book ??? LOL B)

Cohiba Book was acquired in Hong Kong on Dec 21st.. There is a 2 months delay between the factory date & the arrival date....Well, that's Cuban style B)

Fatcigar, could you take a photo of the Sublimes Extra next to a Siglo VI, so we can get a visual image of the size difference? thanks!

Sorry, man...that was my last look before she got stored away there. I have a bad habit of smoking everything in sight, so arranged to lock stogies away after one look...they are HUGH :)

Thanks for the pix. That is one impressive cigar! I understand that these are already smoking very smoothly, given their aged tobaccos. Undoubtedly, they will continue to improve over the years. Congratulations on a great acquisition.

Would you mind sharing the approximate price point?

Speculation has been rampant that these would go for $100.00 per cigar or more.

One of the German LCDHs has them for 1300 euro. 1200 sterling in England.

That's about 1,800 US (on both counts) or 90 a stick

I think it's going to be impossible for most americans to get them, most of the normal places won't ship them because they guarantee them and that's a hell of a package to guarantee when there are tons of HK and EU and AUS buyers with no real risk, full FedEx tracking and insurance end-to-end.

Hamilton (Fatcigar) posted elsewhere that they were originally available in Cuba for 752 CUC, which is about $812 USD.

Our friends from the land of the tall cedars are making these books 'available' at over $2500 USD... and they state that discounts for multi-box purchases can not be offered on these Sublime Extras... what a shame.........

I have a box and another on the way which should be here next week. They were about 2K iirc, maybe a little more. I ordered them in a big bundle of other things so I'd have to check. I think they're all spoken for and no one wants to ship to the US for anybody other than the chosen few, because they don't want to guarantee arrival for anyone they don't trust like a brother.

They look epic, I'm waiting until Friday to smoke one with a buddy, looks like a 3 hour cigar. Weighs 21.4 grams.

Yes. I imagine that if the members who've shared their images with us here wanted to post them elsewhere,

they'd have done so themselves.....

I only have one question?

Why do you have a Gram scale

3 hours B) you need to puff faster or smoke smaller cigars  I smoked one last night it dose not taste as young as I thought it would. I do not smoke a lot of young Cohibas so it is hard for me to give a good reference but I would say they are using some aged tobacco in them!!! Somked nice smooth slighty grassy flavors,in the beganing then started buliding into a smooth and rich cigar smoked a little over a hour (But I smoke fast 30 min robusto to the nub)

i'm looking forward to the first smoke for sure. I have the gram scale for.... get ready for it.... weighing cigars!

All my buddies give me crap about it but I started to notice a variance in quality at one point that I could trace directly back to weight. So, I picked one up at Fry's one day and now weigh a lot of my cigars and then check consistency between boxes. It's also really good at quickly detecting fakes, since the fakes are often shorter since they have to pack the short filler in there more to hold shape.

How come I'm always the last one to catch onto the cryptic inside messages?
