Ken Gargett Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 i saw a stat that said, before this last weekend, that with the cowgirls in last spot in the nfc east, on their pat malone, it was the first time in over 70 years in any division that a team had been last in their division by themselves and yet still had a winning record. suggests a reasonably strong group (i would be much happier if the cowgirls did not have a winning record and let's hope that is so, after they play the skins this weekend. game is being telivised here. can't wait).

Yep. Romo should be back so that should be on the plus side for the cowpies. Portis has a leg strain I think so I am not sure if he will play or play much. But Betts should be back so that is a plus. Also our pickup of D. Hall should help on defense. They have to play a hell of a lot better than they did against the Steelers. :-(

scroggers Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Being a Steelers fan it's hard to argue that the NFC East is vrey stron. Seeing how the giants and Eagles clobbered us. Then again it is a weird year this year since there really doesn't seem to be a dominant team. Even the Giants lost to cleveland, and tennessee really doesn't scare anyone even though they have a great D!! Who knows good luck to the skins Imet alot of great Redskin fans at the Monday night game even though most were gone by the end of the game!!!
