mkz
Got a monthly mail from a cigar-vendor here in sweden... Amongst other things he mentions that there will be worldwide higher prices on handrolled habanos starting 1:st of oktober. He claims that the prices will go up with atleast 7% (only handrolled). This is said to be cause of higher transport prices and off course the bastards Gustav and Ike. So... I´m wondering: is this an accurate statement? Tampa1257
7% to 15% increase is what I would expect anually.
El Presidente
5-7% annual increase has been the norm. As yet I have not heard of an October price increase (which is strange). It is a little bit rich to blame Gustav etal for the price increase....the cyclone only hit a month ago
