Tampa1257
I have enjoyed using my XiKar cutter for nearly 5 years now. Always in my pocket. I do not personally like using a punch, but that is personal preference.

I do agree, Palio is the way to go. I've used many over the past 15+ years and the Palio has been my "go to" for nearly 9 now (I actually have been using the same Palio for nearly 7 years now!) I hope this helps ~Mark

semery74
» I use a sharp pocket knife. I'm all for the knife as well. There is no sense spending money on a uni-tasking cigar cutter. Whatever you purchase it will need sharpening at some point. A straight bladed pocket knife is the easiest thing to resharpen.

demiurgic
Mark at cigarmony bent over backwards to replace my palio. I wrote to him asking a way to sharpen my ancient Palio that was a little dull, he went all out shipped me a new one with leather case and all and assured me of the lifetime guarantee on it. tigger
I use a knife some of the time, although cutters are good to have around for: a. piramides and b. occasional smokers to use. Hard to go wrong with Palio. I grabbed one from Mark when the "wood grain" ones came out, and it's been nothing but useful. Also have a mostly retired Zino that's never steered me wrong. sandholm
» Palio!!! well, this has been up before, but its made out of really ugly plastic... and I hate plastic, and quality or style dont go with plastic right now I use a Davidoff and its just great, I also pick up one of the swiss army knife puncher and it works really well, zino have a couple of really nice once and not that expensive as Davidoff. The blade in my Davidoff is sharp, and I mean really sharp, and if it ever (the person who sold this one to me is a really good friend, and his is 8 years old and I have used it several times and it still razer sharp, he use it daily) goes unsharp, Davidoff will sharpen it.
