Havana cigar shops

Recommended Posts

I have heard that the LCDH's at the Partagas, Upmann and the RyJ factories are the only places to buy cigars. Under no circumstances should you buy off the street. Other than that, enjoy and have a good time.:-D

I know LCDH are a shure thing to visit, but I recall there were some very nice little shops also to visit in some hidden corners, some with good stock not many tourists and fun local guys to talk.

Taino, there is a man in Havana that wears a trenchcoat, who sometimes stands on street corners.

He may be difficult to find, but his uncle's cousin works in one of the factories, and he sells only the

best - if you can find him, you won't be disappointed!

No need to thank me.

I don't know what came over me - perhaps I'm in a bit of a tizzy over the whole "Montecristo Sport"

thing. But that's no excuse - mea culpa.

**at least I didn't mention the brown fedora and dark glasses**

I'd recommend La Casa del Habano in Hotel Conde de Villanueva. They have the whole range, good coffee and rum and Reynaldo will roll you any size cigar. Old Cuban style furniture and atmosphere, it's like going 50 years back in time, really cool.

Other than that, the factories and their shops.

Funny thing is this guy is only there from 21-23 July, hell I think his name is Bobby or Rob or something like that.

» I'll sent them to you with all my love.

Smithy used to say the same thing - my first tastes of salmonella.....

Back to the point at hand - your offer is quite generous, but I couldn't allow it.

If you really must, you can send them to Ken - he love's 'em.

Hotel Melia Habana out in miramar.

About a 10-15 min cab from downtown. They let me open about 10 cabs of lusi's to pick the one I wanted the last time I was there a couple years ago.

And if you go to conde villenueva make sure you get some custom rolled from Reynaldo:ok:
