PartagasIV
I have gone through a couple kilos of Cubita and I have to say I wasn't that impressed...quite bitter as stated above, strong and sort of plain tasting. For the money I would rather have a couple pounds of great Sumatra. Would love to try some of the better brands, though...someday.

hoyopr
Not sure about other places but the local LCDH in Vancouver sells the Serrano whole beans, love it and all we keep in the home. If the weather is nice in the morning I may enjoy at Trini Reyes with a large cup on the patio then.

Ken Gargett
Serrano is MUCH, MUCH better than » Cubita. Cubita is very bitter. Serrano is strong, earthy and nutty. The » Turquino is a bit more refined, smokier, and perhaps less strong. Both » have very low acidity. i'm interested in this. next time, will also pick up some serrano though i have always prefered the cubanita. but i do like strong coffee. smokum
It's a shame some long haired dude in Australia didn't have some premium Cuban coffee to sell.
