Ken Gargett Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 you wouldn't be playing unfair games with a hamlet would you? though it sounds too light and not quite good enough, though there were a few moments in your review that reminded me of one of his.
Asher Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 » So……what is it? That description sounds somewhat like the RyJ Exhibicion #4 I had tonight. The size is wrong, so I'll guess a 2007 RyJ Short Churchill.

Ken, I can rule out a Hamlet. If I still had one of yours here then it would have been a real possibility
mef Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Prez, I reckon it's a JL 2. Tasted and looked like a few I had in 2006. mef
tigger Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 » Prez, » » I reckon it's a JL 2. Tasted and looked like a few I had in 2006. » » mef JLo No. 2 is my guess as well, but perhaps from 2007. Edited to add: Neat idea Rob! Always glad to have another chance to show my ignorance... :-D
Tampa1257 Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 The descriptions were close for several cigars in my mind. What sealed it for me was the flavor of Sandlewood and sweet spice. Because of the extremely flakey ash, the age of this cigar is very young. I believe this cigar to be a Juan Lopez Sellecion No.2 either a 07or a 08 model.
Dr.G Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 A stupid guess to add to the list: Cohiba Robusto 2007??? Cheers, George
Mike33 Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I'll add another vote for the JL #2.....probably from '07.
strayvector Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Sounds like the last HdM Epi 2 I had. If you had thrown in a touch of sourness, then you must have relit the last half of what I put down. Box was from '06. I hope it gets better with age.
brian1 Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 The cirtrus reference leads me to a Choix Supreme maybe?
brian1 Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 » The cirtrus reference leads me to a Choix Supreme(2005) maybe?
Taino Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 ...from your review I would say it's NOT a JL or Cohiba... maybe HDM
BobLobLaw Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 » A stupid guess to add to the list: Cohiba Robusto 2007??? » » Cheers, » » George x2 - Total stab in the dark though! Cool idea
IShotAManInReno Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 While your description suggests otherwise, it sure looks like a RASS.
Tony Maduro Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Hmmm. Partagas Serie D No. 4 on a bad day? The year, 2004?
mkz Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Wild guess.......................... H. Upmann Connoisseur #1 Edit: Year... uh... 2006?
asmith Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 » Virtual Blind Tasting. » » OK this is not really fair as I am doing the tasting but I thought I would » give it a try :-D » » I will post the tasting…..you tell me what cigar and a box year. Sounds » fair Sounds like a cost cutting measure if you ask me, what next virtual boxes of cigars being sent to clients??? I can virtually tell its not a Siglo 1.

asmith Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 » Youre a cynic Smith Hear me out though mate, you would become businessman of the year if you could convince your clients to buy virtual cigars, hell it worked for all those dot.com companies in the early 2000s.
