Oh yes , I remember in the early years of my study in this field , I often longed for a research assistant to help with the enormous work load. When I finally got one however I found that she demanded that the research take longer than was needed and proved to be too much of a distraction and was preventing me from finishing the task in the required time. And then there were the times when all she wanted to do was talk about the research.

And then she would just complain about the stains on her lab coat.

:rotfl: Man, you've got way too much time on your hands!

Yes these day I do have too much time on my hands.

My research assistant went on to become department head. She decided my research was frivolous and of no consequence. She has cut my funding and now my lab equipment is just collecting dust.

I would campaign for her dismissal but I fear that the university may have to be sold.

Perhaps now is the time to start training a replacement. What about the Head Girl when she graduates? The training could mean less time on your hands and more time on the job.

She should never have been promoted to department head in the first place. She couldn't handle a test tube to save her live.

I fear that I am fast approaching an age when my usefulness in the field of research is waining.

» P.S. Did you watch last week's episode of South Park? It was hilarious!

No, I stopped watching when my kids looked at me and said, "Respect my a-thor-i-tie!!!"

:lol3: You have to watch it! It's about the internet going down and Stan's dad, Randy, having a problem with watching too much internet porn. It's hilarious when Randy gets busted and there is "ectoplasm" on everything in the room :lol2:!
