I wake up this morning and find 20 e-mails...some asking me why I was wearing a HCF T shirt and some giving me a mouthfull for doing so. It was 2am - 3am in the morning and Stan presented us all with shirts and caps which we threw over our clothes for a photo. I would have done the same for an ICC, Cigar Family, VCC or I LOVE Ravi T Shirt....if anyone asked. Those who know me know my independent stand on the board wars issue. Rob does not endorse or stamp his approval on any board except this one as far as I know. This was no exception, just a gifting of shirts and caps to people we had grown to like. Ken Gargett Posted March 21, 2008 Share Posted March 21, 2008 there is obviously something going on here that is completely beyond me but stan kindly gave us shirts and caps. we put them on. i intend to continue to wear both (though the incident with the crazy washing machine in barcelona that decided to go on a 24 hour cycle - bloody technology - and would not turn off and may have shrink the shirt just a smidge, may make the shirt less publically acceptable than the cap). sometimes a shirt is just a shirt. As has been mentioned previously the band broke up at 3am...literally.... after an argument between them as to who was more drunk and embarrssing their professional standards. To be honest it was a tie Ruben and Alejandro are a great guitar duo and if anyone wants to book them while in Havana... I have their details. We love these sort of get togethers in Havana. Great friends, great rum, great cigars, great music. Greg, Ken, Des with Ruben and Alejandro Ruben and Stan The boys.
