How often do you.............

Recommended Posts

Open your Cabinet or humi and look through everything because you tell yourself " I have nothing to smoke"

I find myself almost daily telling myself that in the morning, gettin sticks for the day. The wife heard me yesturday and comes over and says " How the hell can you not have anything to smoke , when you have over 100 boxes of cigars"

My reply was....................." The same way you say you have nothing to wear, when you took over the whole walk in closet.

Almost as if the decision is too hard, for too much to choose from :-|

I find myself not wanting to break open things that are ageing or that I do not think have enough age on them. :-D

Your reply pretty much sums it up.

The answer is the same to both questions:

to your wife - How many pairs of shoes is too many?

from your wife to you - How many cigars is too many?

Answer: there is no such thing.

The other day I opened up my Aristo and sat in front of it for about 5 minutes trying to decide what to smoke. Each box I looked at I had a different reason on why I shouldn't smoke one. That needs more age, that is too long of a smoke for now, this I want to save, I want to be outside when I smoke that one, etc etc etc. My wife thinks I'm freakin nuts.

Sad thing is my buying boxes is done for a while as I just purchased my first home 2 weeks ago and move-in in 2 months. I still have 2 boxes I want for long term aging. I think I might have to bite the bullet and purchase on the down low. RyJ Churchills and Monte #2's.

Congratulations on buying a home! My wife and I have been pouring money into improvements over the last few months at our house. Otherwise Rob would have had all my spare cash by now. Oh well... one day I will get the chance to build up a hoard, just not now. ;-)
