Trevor2118
» I was going through some of my CC collection this weekend and came across an old catalog. » » What I would like to do is send a copy to Rob,Lisa and Trevor and maybe they could archive it and post the catalog on the forum. I think this is a great piece of pre-embargo history. Hi KWG I personally would like to have a copy for research for my website. Rob is aware that I am chasing the last pre-revolution (1959/60) catalogue & I will shortly have a copy of the first Cubatabaco catalogue circa 1962. What I want to do is list those cigars discontinued in the 1960 - 1962 period of consolidation in the Cuban cigar industry. I have PM'ed you. Regards, Trevor. KWG116
I was going through some of my CC collection this weekend and came accross an old catalog. It was sent to me by one of my custoemrs. A few months ago we were talking about CC's and he said he had an old catalog, if he could find it he would send it to me. A few weeks later I received a package in the mail. I opened it up and here was the catalog (along with an H Upmann travel tin, which is in the catalog). I was amazed. It has cigars from Hoya,H Upmann,Partagas, Ramon Allones, Belinda ,Cabanas, La Merdiana and Por Larranaga and full size pictures of that years production. The price list was also included. What I would like to do is send a copy to Rob,Lisa and Trevor and maybe they could archive it and post the catalog on the forum. I think this is a great piece of pre-embargo history. I take this out once in awhile and just look through it, it is amazing to see some of the old sizes that were available. Like I have said in many posts, I really enjoy this forum. I wanted to show you guys a few images. This is only for this forum, as I only post on this forum. I wanted to share this with you as a Thank you for everything that I have learned so far. Thank You
