Trevor2118 Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I believe that I will be shortly be able to detect a new flavor in my cigars.........mango. Ducked down to grab a few sticks for the weekend. Opened the door and was immediately greeted with the aroma of mango rather than cigar. On investigation I found a large tray of mango's neatly stored among my cigars. After polite enquiry of my dear wife, I was advise that the mango's were cheap ($10) and she thought that it would be a good idea to put them in with the cigars (& wine) to cool then down so they would not get ripe too quickly. "What about the cigars?" I asked. Her reply..................."yes, I wondered if the cigar smell might affect the mango's." Currently speachless.........................
yossie Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Hahaha. She undoubtly did a good deal. Since I guess the mango's are inexpensive too and you could taste the aroma while smoking a cigar.:-D
Guest Warren Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Trevor I think it's time to pull that old engine block apart in the bath tub. First ask her to clean out the tub so her loose hair won't ruin your engine. :-D ;-)
Colt45 Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 "Toasted tobacco with a distinct impression of mango" If marriage is an institiution, I suppose that once we're married, we've been institutionalized.....
habanablue Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Trevor, at least you go to them before the mangoes went moldy and infected your cigars!
SmokinLightning Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Don't sweat it... I bet fruit flies love cigars. KC

Hey maybe your wife is on to something. Why stop at mangos? Maybe you should give other fruits a try? I am willing to bet that avocados would impart a unique flavor. :-P
