Ken Gargett Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 one of my mates pushed hard recently for me to join the married ranks. his quote - 'why should you be the only one of us that is happy'. photos can be misleading. the young woman in question simply couldn't keep her hands off me while she waited for the next drinks order. and may i say that the fishing trip aside (and be fair - why would i want to stuff that up), the only blokes-only trips i go on are those organised by the president. and one final point - the fishing trip does not only exclude women (tho not supermodels and haven't we been inudated by requests from them - kate moss will be hiding out with us) but also excludes kiwis.

I am really looking forward to catching up with you at the next bash. Rob, you should take a few lessons from Ken. I hear the Cuban girls also adore him. Is it true he has received a few marriage proposals? I suppose my chances are now thwarted?!?

Seen often at a bar with a cigar and scribbling in a notebook, many ladies walking by call out "Papa" in reference to the great Ernest Hemingway. When in Cuba, I keep reminding Ken that all the attention is very similar to a Richard Attenborough documentary about the plains of the Serengeti. The Lions and Hyena's always chase the prey which is sick and elderly or in some otherway handicapped ........a catch such as yourself must set her sights higher ;-)
