I love my 07's but was wondering if the Partagas Lovers could advise on any specific older codes/years that are great as well??

I've been smoking some from May '06 that have been great, but I feel will be better still in time.

They are hard to resist. I don't have any experience with other vintages, though I have had

a few No.1s from '05 that were dreadful.

If possible, get another box or boxes fron '06 or '07 and stash them away while you smoke from

the box you have.

I was fortunate enough to get NNSU-VC-3 from 1998 , they are great but not sure they are still available.

I bought some 98s in Nürnberg a few months ago. I think they had another one, not sure though.

Jeff, I am very impressed with the mid-'06 box I have. I bought them to age, but have been smoking so many that I got another box! Sometimes I prefer the in-your-face spiciness of a young Partagas.

The '03s are definitely worth having, if you can find any. My box of '99s are good, but not great.

in havana for the festival this year, we found an amazing array of years in the stores and pretty much bought all we found. as i mentioned elsewhere recently, we used them as our house smoke. from memory, we had 97s. 00's, 03's, 05's and '06's. obviously differences from age but all good. the oldest terrific, the 06's excellent aand i have a feeling the 03's also excellent.
