I have an Aristocrat endtable unit from Bob and an Avallo DDD Chilled unit from Ron and Matt.

I have an Aristocrat Plus. This is a very good unit and is well worth the money I spent. Think about this. How much are 20 boxes of cigars worth? For something like the price of 4 or five boxes, you can get a top quality unit. And, if you are like most of us on the boards, you will fill it! Don't cheap out on a cabinet humidor, it is not worth it.

Kind of OT but has anyone converted an existing humi to a cooled unit with the Peltier units ? Any recommendations on where to buy a Peltier ? I have an uncooled old Viking end table that I want to retrofit for aging.

Both of those gentlemen make great products. Whomever you chose, be prepared to wait a while as their production schedules are long. Good luck and lets us know what you end up with.

I got my Peltier by removing it from a cheap cooler.

Condensation is a big problem though.

I did this, but like previously stated the is a lot of Condensation issues. You need to put in a good amount on installation and you humidor needs to seal well. I ended up having to scarch the idea after sinking in too much money in it.
