Hmm...

Perhaps your rats don't sense a threat of becoming lunch or dinner...

I can see that an intelligent rat could easily learn to decode "Yo Ben! Find me a mine or ya going into me tummy" (of course, for the threat to work, Ben must have seen its cousin Jerry been turned into meat-pie/fajitas/stir-fry/jerky/pizza-topping/fake-tofu/etc)...

We should train our politicians to sniff out land mines... be nice to see them doing something productive for a change as well.

In 1996 I was in Cambodia with a good friend and business partner who was looking at a semi rural location for a manufacturing plant. He advised me in the evening that we were to investigate a significant plot of land but that there may be a problem in land mines. I told him to shove the proposed morning rural walk up his arse but he quickly stepped in to say "No problem Rob, I have paid a local farmer to walk in front of us with a huge herd of goats"

One of the slowest walks in my life :lol:
