Colt45 Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 » I have seen pictures of someone smoking the old style Partagas Culebras » all at once. It was kinda cool.;-) Don't ask me why, but the pic of the three culebras all lit at once looks like something Gomez Addams would do. Or maybe Uncle Fester......

jay8354 Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Rob, Just a question to these tempting and in-demand sticks Will these only be available in Boxes of 10s or will there be boxes of 25s as well?
Ginseng Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 » » Has anyone tried smoking these all at once, perhaps in error? » » One guy on CP posted a pic of himself smoking a NC Culebra (can't recall » the brand) he was laughed off the forum, that and he insulted several well » respected members. » Marc, Who was that? I'm looking at the photo and the head looks sort of unusual...like the three cigars were bound together with leaf. Maybe that crazy cule' was meant to be smoked all together? Wilkey

Here's what he posted: On another note, I have seen a culebra come out of the Don Francisco* shop that is intended to be smoked all at once, and was told it was the best cigar he had ever smoked! The cost comes from the time associated with rolling one of those suckers... Ligero Dominicano X Seco Dominicano X Piloto Cubano Smoking time was around 2 hours 20 minutes!

Van55 Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 FWIW, one vendor is now offering BGM at $110 per box of 10.
Mark Twain Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 » FWIW, one vendor is now offering BGM at $110 per box of 10. They also have the the Partagas Culebras for $122.50 for a box.
servebig Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 » FWIW, one vendor is now offering BGM at $110 per box of 10. what country are we talking about?
Jimmy2 Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 But they won't be out until end of July its a pre order i think.
strayvector Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 » » FWIW, one vendor is now offering BGM at $110 per box of 10. » » They also have the the Partagas Culebras for $122.50 for a box. Part of the charm of these particular cigars are the packaging that they come in. For some, bandless and no box may be fine, but I'll wait for Rob so I can get them with original packaging instead.
shrink Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 » Seriously, I see these pictures and I want to throw up That's not my reaction. In my mind, the Culebra is a cigar to share and enjoy with two buddies, not by yourself. What would be the point of smoking it alone?
El Presidente Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 I had a conversation with our Habanos mate who stated the Partagas Culebras and the Bolivar Gold Medals are coming out of the Habanos Warehouse Freezer in good quantites and will be ready to be exported in a few days. They should be readily available by end July but pricing has not been established in most of the regions. I will post when pricing is ready but it will likely be a month away. Here are the packaging pictures. Nice new embossing on the Culebra.
PorscheC4S Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 » » »Forgive my ignorance. How does one smoke these tobacco braids? Are you meant to undo the three and smoke one at a time or keep them together, light all three and smoke them like a circus seal playing the horns? »
