Punch SS2

» I have a box coming in through customs right now. I am very excited to try

» these since I have heard so many good things about them. :-)

For me it's going to be that much better that it took quite a bit of effort finding a box. My mouth is drooling just thinking about them. I need to go look at some porn and refocus :)

I have been debateing for a few months on getting a box or not. Now Punch has become some of my favorite profile of a cigar as of late. I have numerous boxes of

Punch Petite Punch

Black Prince

Punch Punch

RS#12

RS #11

Punch Coronas

Punch Petite Coronas Del Punch

Been debateing the $550 price tag as if the flavor is much differance or more flavorful then the above.

Or is it a hyped up cigar because of it is discontinued? Like H. Upmann Super Coronas, Now they are discontinued, everyone is after them, but while they were still in production, they werent spoken much about.

Always a dillema for me ;-)

A little over six months ago they were only $390. for a cab. I found a vendor that has them at $600. and passed. Too many great cigars out there to drop $600.

Found these at $496... not bad for a CAB of corona gordas with over 5 years of age on them!

Well the SS1 did earn a spot on the infamous CA Top25...

» Around $325-375 or so.

I think you have to take into consideration the age on any box of SS#2. Yeah they might have been around $400 or even less, but 5 years of age tends to increase the price a bit ;)

Yesterday I smoked my first Punch SS#2 ever, from a cab from 02 bought just some weeks ago. Damn what a strong cigar! Good taste that was kinda close to other Punch cigars I've smoked, but it had a kind of sinister creep-up-on-you strength that made me look at it with a scared expression just halfways. Phew... I will choose the time to smoke these carefully in the future, hehe. :-D
