A word of advice -- consider calling the destination terminal and scheduling a delivery appointment. I've found this is the best approach and avoids any surprises about the delivery date. I got my notification yesterday also! Mine is shipping early because of you, actually. Bob was building several Plus 48 THC's so he put mine in the group! Thanks for the help. Tampa1257 Posted January 4, 2007 Author Posted January 4, 2007 Well, it looks like AZsteelman (Randy) and I must have ordered about the exact same time, but I was a little further away from Texas than he was. My Aristocrat arrived today and fortunately, Professor Twain and his oldest son helped me bring it inside the apartment. All I can say is that talk about packing! This humidor was secured like Ft Knox, First class all the way! After removing it from the container, this is what I found. Currently following the instructions for the proper set up, and in about 3 days or so, I'll be able to place the cigars inside. To celebrate, I opened a box of 1997 Bolivar Petit Coronas, a Ten year old cigar to break in the new humidor!
tandblov Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Very nice Chuck!!!! Bob does excellent work, and the packaging is second to none. I really like the raised door panel you got. It looks like you got the dark mahogony stain. It definately makes the grain stand out! Congrats!

What an amazing piece of work this is. My son Carl and I were glad to help out with this, the 97 Boli PCs were more than ample compensation for our efforts.
