OK, what do you prefer to drink whilst enoying a smoke?

me...usually a scotch on a chilly evening or a gin and tonic if it's warm. Mojitos and sometimes sipping on aged Tequila accompany a cigar well.....

Through the cooler months I like a top shelf bourbon or an ultra-premium Tequila and for the summer I like gin and tonic or a Mojito.

My preference is Tequilla Sunrise in the am and good reds the rest of the time. I find cigars go perfectly with desert wines particularly ice wines.

Late afternoon/sundown, mojitos are the bomb.

later in the evening, good scotch (Glen Fiddich, Glenmorangie, JW Black straight or on the rocks) is a great accompaniment.

'Bout time we do this HB, been too long.

My favourite is a really good Vodka on the rocks. My Doc had a heart attack when I mentioned this, something about vastly increasing my risk of assorted mouth cancers. I freely admit this alarmed me a little so now it's only on rare ocassion.

So usually Guiness accompanies my smokes.

Lagavulin 16 YO Single Malt Whisky

Summer: On the rocks

Winter: Straight Up

You just cant beat an Islay Single Malt Whisky with a fine Cuban Cigar IMHO..............

Summer evenings parked in a comfy chair on the deck, it would be a nice Merlot or shiraz… Winters evenings I find a rich cup of dark roast coffee, with a bit of cream, nicely mirrors my Cohiba I!

Gotta agree with Chris here! Bowmore, Laphroaig and Lagavulin are all great choices with strong cigars.

Most of the time I drink Jack or Knob Creek and ginger ale. Guinness is always good :-D

I love a cup of fresh roasted coffee in the morning along with a Bolivar PC.

Mid-day Party Short with Ice water.

Early evening Cohiba Robusto with Crown Royal on the rocks.

Night cap Party Lusi with Dow's 30 year old Tawny Port.

Makes for a wonderful day.

Most Trappists beers (Belgium Ales) are excellent with most Cuban cigars, other times sipping on a nice port or red wine.

Oh yes and liquors, frangelico, armaretto ect...

Would have to be just like Easter Sunday afternoon - a 10 year old Henschke Hill of Grace, magically preserved after a long sea voyage.

Most week-end mornings, a good cup of fresh roasted coffee and a Partagas short.

Mid day, just ice water seems to do the trick.

Winter evenings Dewars 12, Nob Creek or Balvanie Double Wood.

Summers, Mojitos with HC7.

Glenmorangie, Glenfiddich 18yo or Glenlivit for a scotch or a '98 cab sav.... weather tends to play a part though.

» My favorite drink is water.

Water for me as well.

I don't like drinking alchohol straight or mixed, I do enjoy a beer now and again though. I like to drink water while smoking so that all I am tasting it the tobacco.

Based on some reviews I've read on scotches and what not I truely wish I could stomach the stuff 'cause it sounds delicious.

I couldn't stomach scotch either but with application and practice I managed to overcome the initial setbacks.....with gusto ;-)

A hot steaming latte in the afternoon

Cool tall glass of pina colada in the evening

And Sheridan on the rocks (any time of the day)

Goes so damn well with any cigar...

Great taste! Those are my two favorites too! I also enjoy:

Mojito

Rum Ricky (Mojito w/o the mint)

Silver Oak Cab

Ice Water

I'm not really a scotch guy, so I can't comment yet...
