Which cigar can you just not appreciate no matter how hard you try. You know....people rave about it but even though you have tried it numerous times....you just can't see what all the fuss is about? feel free to note both Cubans and Non Cubans.

Mine.

Cuban: SLR Serie A

Non Cuban : Ashton VSG

Hey Rob, make up your mind--your review in the International Shop says "Soft, Rich, complex with a slightly caramelized palate. A connoisseurs Cigar. One of the greatest light cigars "

I agree with you on both counts actually. Especially with the VSGs.... I keep asking myself "What am I missing?"

I only have but so much in my humidor, which really isn't that much. But of everything I have tried so far, I would have to say the Cohiba Sublime. Nice looking stick, but I didn't get what all the fuss was about. I didn't get much flavor from this cigar at all. Granted, it was young (I smoked a few back in the fall of 2005), but it just didn;t do it for me at all. I also do not like the size of the Sublime... it's a jaw breaker!! That said, I have one remaining in the humidor that I will break out sometime next year, maybe for my birthday.

For me: Mag 46 - never had one that did it for me...

non-cuban: Larger formats of the Opus line...I do enjoy the smaller ones occasionally.

I believe some of those reviews are Kenny Boys...but I did that heard Rob has multiple personalities. Weirdo.:surprised:

Great idea for a thread.

I would say that for me, a CC I used to like but just don't feel it anymore at all is the RASS

As for the NC's I "don't get", it has to be overwhelmingly the Opus line. Strong for the sake of strong. That's how I see those.

Monte and Monte #4 in particulare....grassy flavor...never did anything for me. Have a hard time to understand why this cigar is the most sold handmade Cuban cigar

Not awful, but certainly not worth the hype and price from my experience.
