El Presidente Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Which cigar can you just not appreciate no matter how hard you try. You know....people rave about it but even though you have tried it numerous times....you just can't see what all the fuss is about? feel free to note both Cubans and Non Cubans. Mine. Cuban: SLR Serie A Non Cuban : Ashton VSG
gersonmorelli Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 I might be hated for this but, here I go: ELDM Choix Supreme. Not that I dislike it, I just don't get why everybody love these!
manny816 Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Punch Punch for me. They have never really done it for me.
habanohal Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 No offense to the CoRo lovers, but IMO they are some of the least flavorful and desired Cuban Cigars for me ( Along with the RASS)
CIGARHead Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 I dont know why everyone like Piedra's. I think they suck:-| Its been soo long since I have had a N/C, but to memory the Punch Rare Corojo. Nasss T!
PigFish Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Cuban: RASS (just don't bother to buy them anymore!) Non-Cuban: ANY OF THEM!!!
cigardawg Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Habanos: R&J Churchill, R&J Belicoso, Montecristo No. 4 N/C: Davidoffs...just don't get it. Ultra expensive and mostly flavorless.
croatan Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Cuban: SLR Regios and RASS. Non-Cuban: A whole bunch. Opus X with anything under a year of age comes immediately to mind, though.

Tampa1257 Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Cuban: ELDM Choix Supreme, never has done a thing for me, God knows that I have tried!!!!!! Non-Cuban: Fuente Opus X
mr.harten Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Cuban: ERDM Choix Supreme Non Cuban : Partagas 150/160

Especially with the VSGs.... I keep asking myself "What am I missing?"
gyosa Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Hoyo Epi #2's ...... just too bland for my tastes.... I just don't smoke non-cubans any more - because they SUCK ! -bk
genevapics Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 I only have but so much in my humidor, which really isn't that much. But of everything I have tried so far, I would have to say the Cohiba Sublime. Nice looking stick, but I didn't get what all the fuss was about. I didn't get much flavor from this cigar at all. Granted, it was young (I smoked a few back in the fall of 2005), but it just didn;t do it for me at all. I also do not like the size of the Sublime... it's a jaw breaker!! That said, I have one remaining in the humidor that I will break out sometime next year, maybe for my birthday.
tandblov Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 For me: Mag 46 - never had one that did it for me... non-cuban: Larger formats of the Opus line...I do enjoy the smaller ones occasionally.

cf2112 Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Third the SLR Serie A. In fact the SLR line does little if anything for me (DC excluded) NC-All except Padron & Anejo's
andymiami Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Great idea for a thread. I would say that for me, a CC I used to like but just don't feel it anymore at all is the RASS As for the NC's I "don't get", it has to be overwhelmingly the Opus line. Strong for the sake of strong. That's how I see those.
COJ Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Monte and Monte #4 in particulare....grassy flavor...never did anything for me. Have a hard time to understand why this cigar is the most sold handmade Cuban cigar
Guest boss hogg Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Partagas P2 Mag 46 Not awful, but certainly not worth the hype and price from my experience.
