I have been asked if we have a relationship with Corporate Cigar.

Let me unequivocably state that we do not. I would not take his phone call let alone sell him a box of cigars.

I will be contacting PCC Monday to confirm whether the identical aged list which he has published has in fact been supplied to him by PCC.

Rob:

Those who know you well don't have to ask that question, but it is good that you answered it for the record. There have been several threads recently on other boards about problems with a vendor "down under". It is regrettable that anyone might think it was CC. Don't worry, it's not just your shipments that are intact... so is your reputation.

Like shrink stated, Cigar Czar's reputation is indeed intact! You, Lisa and Smithy are the heart and soul of Cigar Czar. Your dedication to customer service is what distinguishes the Czar from most other vendors. Trust me, when these threads appear, there are many Czarists that step up and voice their feelings regarding the integrity of Cigar Czar.

Anyone that knows Cigar Czar understands that there is no relationship whatsoever with Corporate Cigar.

Thanks Guys.

I just wanted to make it absolutely crystal clear. I wish that I could legally say how I really feel.

Anyone that's been around for a while knows already based on their own experiences :-D

Rob and Lisa, we appreciate your hard work and dedication.

All we have to do is sit back and let the cigars do the talking.

Idle chatters who speak without thinking just make a$$e$ of themselves.

Thank you for your clarifications. There are many out there that lurk at other cigar forums and do their best to read between the lines when a vendor comes in question. Anyone that has dealt with you or Lisa knows that you guys are a class act. For me personally it does not matter what other vendors are doing. I found a home with you guys and plan to never stray as long as you will have me. Keep up the great work! TD

Thanks for taking time to post this even though for me it is totally not necessary.

I think at least I can guess at what you might comment if that were possible. Thanks again from one noob! :ok:

Rob you're a stand-up guy and run an honest business for anyone to think otherwise is just a load of horse $hit.

How many internet customers can say that the owner of their cigar supplier has taken the time to come and meet its members in person?

I think not many.

Maybe he really has them in stock (but I doubt it) - doesn't matter I wouldn't order from him anyhow when I've got FoH/CC. Got my first shipment in recently and I'm now officially a loyal customer :ok:

My experience with Corporate Cigars:

Quick to Bill ......... VERY Slow to Fill !!!!!

Your credit card takes a hit seemingly before you get off their web site; then the wait begins...and you wait....and you wait.... It has been about 1.5 years since I ordered from them - it just got to be a silly way to go about and procure cigars.

But when your cigar 'business' consists of a computer screen and an internet hook up like Copr. Cigars does and only then you go and chase down cigars folks may have ordered - there's really not that much more to expect...:-(

No worries Rob. I think I can speak for most when I say that most wont ever deal with CC again. And I would say it is well known through the BB' that you are the real deal.

Rob,

I never had a moment's doubt that this was the case.

I did some probing with a thread on VCC because there is one other vendor "down under" that I would buy from (but never have). Due dilligence is our individual responsibility but knowing what I know about Corporate (from a variety of sources) I suspected the issue likely involved them.

People often talk about their "trusted sources" and how they never even bother to examine or verify their orders. I had never experienced even close to that level of confidence with a vendor (both the man/woman as well as the shop) until I found FOH.

Vive la Czar!

I can confirm that PCC has indeed supplied Corporate with the stock list that has been published.

I just want to re-affirm that we have no relationship with Corporate.

I usually stay away from these type of threads. I don't pretend to know the

Czar Crew, or any of the posting members, but I think I have a decent enough

idea of the character here.

Perhaps their livliehood/reputation is on the line, so to speak, but personally, I

find what may be inferred on other boards, possibly regarding CZ, irrelevent.

I also get the feeling that they probably don't give a rat's ass - I'm sorry, arse.

On the flip side, I have heard that Lisa is a user of foul language, and that

Smithy doesn't wash his hands after using the bathroom.

Smithy doesn't wash his hands after using the bathroom.

That's Rob's policy. At least Czar's cigars have that authentic "barnyard" aroma, instead of the fragrant, soapy taste that some have mentioned! :-|

Am I missing something? She's always so polite and demure on chat.

I have posted on the thread at CigarWeekly how wrong I think it is for them to let that lengthy thread stand without identifying the offending vendor as Steve at Corporate Cigars. It's a disservice to all other "down under" vendors to allow that. If course I phrased my post in such a way that anyone with a brain will see that I identified "Corporate" as the culprit.:-D

You mean there are other vendors shipping Habanos to the states?

Really?

Why would anyone even consider looking elsewhere?

As you can see from the posts Rob you have no concerns from anyone here. Your services are top notch! And no one doubts your product, reputation or integrity. :ok:

Ditto. That is why you are (and have been for the last year) my only source!!
