It has been nearly 4-5 years since I smoked the last one. I remember it being sort of "salty" tasting tobacco, medium body, but nice flavors. I would not consider it a mainstream type of cigar for my palate, but very much representative of the La Gloria Cubana marca.

Rob, in a nutshell the Sabrosos is an outstanding cigar. With age I find the Sabrosos exhibit a flavor profile that is floral, woody and has slight hints of pepper. I have always enjoyed this cigar as I find it is unique and hard to compare to others from a flavor perspective. I would buy any I could find... but alas few are to be found these days. If you do come across any please call me at once!!

All true. I have smoked a half box already and have 1 full 1 left. Lucky enough to find them.

I would agree with most of what's been posted so far ... Sabrosos are unique compared to other cigars I’ve smoked in the LGC line. It’s a bit less complex than either the Medaille D'Or series or the Tainos I’ve smoked. I think Tampa was very perceptive when he mentioned saltiness. I have about half a box left and I can’t see myself buying another. I’ll spend my money on my favorite Medaille D'Or No. 1.

SInce you brought these up, I had to smoke 1 today, but mine are from 2001.

All I can say is, VERYYYYYYY FRUITY. Total citrus with a tiny hint of spice. Need to keep it on the slow side of smokeing for , too fast and it gets hot and can burn your upper lip.

( always hard for me to smoke them slowly)
