What’s happening in July?

El Presidente Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 What a great night! We finally made it home to the Waldorf at 6am after stopping at a few venues on the way home. There is something just not right about strip clubs in Manhatten not serving Alcohol I will always remember what Shagga said when told by the Barman that there was no alcoholic beer at a certain "club" " Seriously mate....unless this is an Islamic strip club, you had better find me a beer...and quick...before I get angry" ...a beer was found. What a great night. Great friends, Great food....ton of laughs.
Freefallguy Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 Tampa(Et al), In request for info of the NYC herf, here are a few of the pics from the same… Doc, NOT waiting to exhale and Rob adding a bit of the torch. Rob, George(Brissy MD, now in NYC) and Nick Lawrence, Rob and Rob(me) Though I was only there for a couple of hours, the event was a tremendous success… kudos to Jimmy for putting together a great gathering and to Havana Dreams as well for the venue to do so. Yes, libations were flowing(Johnny Walker Black Label the choice of, well, what happened at the herf, stays at the herf!) No only libations, but a few lies as well, cleverly disguised as fishing/hunting/wine/cigar/Lisa/Smithy stories! For the record, it was 17 degrees(F), -7© on a bank clock as I left the city… and Rob lamenting the fact that there were snow flurries as he showed some mates along Wall Street. As I type, they’re now @ Florio’s enjoying a fine Italian meal… raise your glasses in a hearty toast to group! Here Here! . o O (Hmmm… should I mention the H. Uppman Monarchs and St. Lui Rey’s that were being handed out to those in attendance???) Oh, and Lise, Rob wanted me to pass along to you that he was most hard at work, maintaining a level of PR that is only expected from his patrons!
