Tatuaje Old Man And The C Monster at PCA 2026

April 27, 2026 - Press Release

A sneak peek of Tatuaje’s Old Man and the C Monster was on display at the Tatuaje Booth (#2931) last weekend at PCA.  The Limited Release, scheduled for later this year, features a 7 x 44 Lonsdale and Culebra of the Creature blend.

The Creature blend from Tatuaje was added to the Monster Series when it appeared in the Monster Mash sampler back in 2021 and in another form in the Monster Smash sampler in 2024, and will be seen at its full size of 6 7/8 x 52 this year as an early Limited Release.  The Creature blend features an all-Nicaraguan blend of wrapper, binder, and filler, and none of the details other than that have ever been disclosed.

Old Man and the C concept started in 2011 with an El Triunfador blend rolled as a Culebra and Lancero at 7 1/2 x 38 presented in a hinged coffin box. It was later used for a Tatuaje Black Label version and again as a Fausto version, all at 7 1/2 x 38.

Wrapper: Nicaragua

Binder: Nicaragua

Filler: Nicaragua

Size: 7 x 44

This run is limited to 1,300 cabinets containing 6 coffins each.  This is an allocated product and will be offered by the sales representatives to qualifying retailers later this year.

The Old Man and the C El Triunfador was one of the first cigars I gave my brother when he was just getting into cigars and he loved them. Hope I can snag a coffin of this release.

This OM&C release is at least hitting broad market retail. I am unsure if any of the previous were available at more than a double handful of stores. Hit your biggest Tat plug now.

I purchased the original a while back...at least 10 years ago. Still haven't opened the foil. I will probably never smoke the Lancero. I generally find Tatuaje sickening. I only purchased them because of the name. Very cool presentation.

These should be smoked! At 10 years of age, based on everything else you're crazy about these should be great, especially as a lark with two mates.

I will hang on to them. Not in a million years will I smoke them. I gave a few boxes away as gifts. They didn't cost much. Picked up three coffins. This is definitely not tobacco that ages well in any capacity.

We're going to have to disagree here.
