Popular Post Chibearsv Posted April 16 Popular Post Posted April 16 Max Velocity on YouTube streams live storm watches and warnings across the US. He’s got storm chasers, traffic cameras, Doppler radar, green screen, etc. it’s uber nerd central and I love it. Sample of a full livestream from a couple days ago below. 5
JohnS Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Since I'm on a short break following Easter I've been diving into some Rick Beato. If your musically-inclined, you can follow the engineering and production discussions with famous people in the music industry such as Glyn Johns (engineered Get Back - The Beatles), Butch Vig (produced Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins) and Andy Wallace (engineered Nevermind - Nirvana) or you could just enjoy his discussions on how music culture has changed over time. A number of us are familiar with Rick's YouTube Channel and I have friends and acquaintances who cite him and aren't necessarily musicians. 4

El Niño Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I've been watching the Bliss cigar guy on YouTube and a ton of stuff on gardening. I'm growing my own plot of baccy in my back yard and am completely determined to have something smokable. If not this year, then the next! AND THE NEXT... I'm sure the tomatoes and peppers will turn out fine, though.

Popular Post riderpride Posted April 17 Popular Post Posted April 17 I've been watching Anatoly troll big egos at the gym. If you see one, you've seen 'em all, but I can't stop. The ending to this one had me rolling 🤣 Cheers! 3 1 2
Joeyjojo Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Not just this week, but I've been addicted to the Agas Map of Early Modern London https://mapoflondon.uvic.ca/agas.htm The closest you can get to a Google map of London from the 1550's. This, along with reading John Stow's survey of London of around the same period has kept me from doing all sorts tasks I should be doing instead! 😄 3
Popular Post Edicion Posted April 17 Popular Post Posted April 17 I've been deep in the 47th Street watch world for a while now with the whole buy, sell, flip scene on YouTube / IG. I have ended up following all these different characters; some seem shady, some seem legit, but that's what makes it entertaining. One of the main guys I've been following is Vookum and his road to $100K challenge, which gives it all a storyline that keeps you sucked in. 5
Nohiba Posted April 19 Posted April 19 I’ve been binge listening to The Rest is History podcast over the past few days, specifically their series on WW1. The combination of new found industrial capacity and high command’s antiquated attitude to just sending more bodies into the fray resulted in such a cluster**** for the soldiers on the front. Truly a miracle if you came out as a veteran of the war. If anyone’s into history in general, I seriously recommend these guys!
