Popular Post benfica_77 Posted April 12 Popular Post Posted April 12 Last year grew two tobacco plants for the first time. One Italian heritage seed and one Brazilian. Unfortunately the plants had to cure in my basement while I went on vacation unattended. They did not turn out great so my friend who I did this project with was gracious enough to use the leafs he grew. Let me preface this is our first time. The leaves were hanging out in my humidor for the last 6 plus months. We decided to roll them and see what happens. We used no moulds just twisting a paper to hold the filler and binder. Let's just say there was an attempt but we had a good laugh. I might attempt to smoke in a couple weeks but keeping my expectations real low. My rolling skills are top notch I'm sure Hamlet would love to have me rolling at Fabrica 5. Started new seeds for another year. Hope the leaves this year cure brown. Every year I hope to get better and maybe in 10 years I'll have a smokable robusto. 11 2
ha_banos Posted April 12 Posted April 12 You mean you don't just hang this in an airing cupboard and forget about it for a couple months?! Better luck next time 🙏
Joeyjojo Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Love the effort/attempt. Even if it does look like an Egyptologist has unwrapped a mummy! 😆 1
CaptainQuintero Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I think it's pretty great for a first season and attempt, better than I could do for sure! It's always something I've always wanted to try, seeing the occasional mould on eBay never helps the urge either. 1
