Havanaaddict Posted February 21 Posted February 21 So do you think you can approximately date a cigar by the style of tube it is in? 1
Puros Y Vino Posted February 21 Posted February 21 To a small degree. Some tubos change. The RyJ Churchill ones for instance. 2
Lucas Buck Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I’ve got a pretty good handle on it with my decades long love affair with them. 2
JohnS Posted February 21 Posted February 21 It would be a rough estimate on the older bottom screwcap tubos. Around 2006, Habanos S.A. updated their tubo packaging to included more premium-style screwcap tubos (think of the Bolivar Tubos, or Punch Coronation for example, with it full-coloured tubes instead of the old, plainer silver-coloured tubos) and friction pull-apart tubos (like the ones on Cohiba cigars, for example). 3
