Great question @jps2345. It would be interesting to see some ER and LEs if dear FOH can share insights. Personally, it's my favorite vitola. I think Vegas Robaina Famosos personifies this vitola rather well and if I am not mistaken, with a beautifully slight box pressed presentation. I would also like to add Punch Sir John, ER Germany. Is there a Cohiba Hermosos I wonder?

The most consistent and reliable Cuban Hermosos No.4-sized cigar nowadays would have to be the H.Upmann Connoisseur No.1. The others (such as the El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme, Romeo y Julieta Exhibicion No.4, Saint Luis Rey Regios or Vegas Robaina Famosos) all have their moments of exhilaration, from time-to-time, but in general nothing beats the H.Upmann Connoisseur No.1.

Except for the VR Famosos, all of the Hermoso #4s came in SLB packaging. (All had 50 cab iterations, except the Upmann with 25;  VR only in a db presentation).  I like them all, as well as the RG Coronas de Lonsdales, depending on my mood.

Punch 48 LCDH, really great format but a bit of a hit and miss for overall experience. People seem to have varying takes on the cigar. Its generally a 8/10 for me. The cubancigarweb actually refers this as a Hermosos No 3. Lovely presentation as well with the custom bands. Punch does excel under 50RG in the coronas. Maybe people expect more than a Punch Punch when they pick and yet the Punch Punch is already such a distinguished cigar. Maybe.

Agree with this wholeheartedly, but it falls outside of the parameters due to length, as you pointed out. My favorite 48rg, though, above the Connie 1, in my opinion
